A Brief about our Vidyalaya
Kendriya Vidyalaya at Air Force Station Akkulam is coming under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is sponsored by Southern Air Command, Thiruvananthapuram.The Vidyalaya has shifted to its new building on 2 November 2006 . The building is an A type one having provision for running two sections each from classes I to XII. Nine staff quarters are also coming up .10.96 acres of land has been leased to KVS by Defence Estate Officer, Situated on the outskirts of the city, the Vidyalaya is surrounded by beautiful environs where one can see Nature at its best.
